My first challenge........

I am so excited to be able to host my first challenge this week!

With Anize turning nine yesterday, I thought what better them to a Birthday theme!!! But me being me, I couldn't leave it at that. No I had to add a little twist........ I added a sketch as well. Now I not a computer literate person, so my sketch is hand drawn,  but I think you will be able to get the jist of it!

Birthday Baby!!!

Today my little girl turns 9! It is amazing how quickly they grow up! It feels like just yesterday I was holding her in my arms protecting her from all the "Monsters" and today I have to try and sneak in a hug as tackles the world head on! Amazing!!!

I actually had a little time to myself this week and took full advantage of it! I made some cards! I have a habit of getting up every morning, going to the PC, browsing through a whole bunch of challenge sites, and writing down all the challenges! But even though I have every intention of getting to these said challenges, they sit on my desk and another week goes by without me doing one of them! Well not this week! I made sure to tackle some of them!!!

So here are my cards!

The first one, I have been drooling over all the cards on the net that have been coloured on Kraft card stock. I love the effect! So I had to give it a try. I think I need a little more practice. The colours really do work differently on Kraft!

Birthday Bugs

Good morning everyone! Hard to believe that in only two more weeks the kids will be going back to school. Honestly I can't wait! My two have after each other 24/7, and driving me nuts!!! LOL!

Well this week at Fab'n'Funky we have a wonderful challenge for you. This week we are asking you to use Leaves somewhere on your creation. We were very lucky to be able to play with some of the stamps from our sponsor this. I love the Bugaboo stamps. They are so fun to play with. This week I got to play with Scene-it Ladybug Birthday.

Angels and Fairies

Just a quick little post today! With the Olympics going on I have found myself glued to the TV, my kids have been forced to fend for themselves while I was captivated by all those amazing athletes. Have you been watching?

Well with me being glued to the TV, it seems that I was late in getting some of my others duties done (besides feeding the kids..... thank goodness they are old enough to sort of take care of themselves. LOL)

So here is what I have made for the new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. We were asked to use some Rhinestones or Pearls on our project this week.

I have this rhinestone title for years, and have been wanting to use it on something, but kept putting it aside. Well this week I pulled it out, coloured it to match my card with my Copics and voila! The image is from Magnolia and made it in 3D.
