I have to admit I cringed a bit when I read the title for our challenge, anyone who knows me, knows that I am sooooooo not a PINK girl. I am not girly either. But once I saw the lovely images that we got to play with I found it wasn't so hard to add some pink to it. LOL

This weeks sponsor is :

I chose to use Fairy Shaylee for my card today.

A little game of catch up!

Well much has happened in the last little while. I have been busy making cakes (looks like the word is getting out and I have been getting quite a few orders.) And Jared my little boy turned 16!!! I know I really should stop calling him my little boy, the boy towers over me now! He about 6 feet tall, and still complaining about knee pains. So I figure he has some more growing to do!

You know as boys grow that tend to get to a very clumsy stage, and trip and fall over everything in their path? Well Jeff stated telling him to watch out for his HOBBIT feet. It has kind of become a running joke around the house. Well you wouldn't believe what I found for him for his birthday.

Yup we found HOBBIT FEET!!!!!!

He loves them too. After giving me a scowl and chasing his father around that is. He wears them all the time now! LOL

Seeing that he is now sixteen, I thought this cake would be perfect for him.

He got a good laugh out of it too!

All in all I think he had a good birthday.

During the march break Anize and I went out to Creative Café and painted some pottery. She chose a cute little puppy dog bank,

These were taken before they got fired up and glazed. We are still waiting for our pieces to come back. I made a mug for Jared that said 16 and had a person driving a car.

I just have to show you this picture, Anize and her friends were making videos and she was all made up to be a ghost or a zombie. So I thought it would fun to take some photos. I love this photo, not really sure why, but love it and just had to share.

And here is a few pictures of the cake I made for a little five year old over the march break.

Well thank you for stopping and playing catch up with me.

Have a great day!

My Oh My!! I am a terrible blogger.......

But in my defence I do have a good reason. The flu bug has run a muck in my house hold, and I had to take four days off work the week before last to tend to the sick. Then this week it was play catch up at work and at home......and therefore I completely forgot to post last weeks challenge for Fab'n'Funky. By the time I noticed it, it was Monday night and I still had to make this weeks challenge. So you are in for a treat this week I am going to give a two for one. I am going to show you last weeks Challenge (Valentine/Love) and this weeks (spots and stripes) as well.

So here is it, last week we got to play with some stamps from Paper Shelter. I love their stamps, they are so fun and cute.

Here is what I came up with for last weeks challenge.

And a closer look. I fussy cut the lips from some Bobunny papers. I love how it turned out!

Now onto this weeks challenge!!!!!

This week we are sponsored by Colour me creative and Stampart.
With my little predicament of having no real time, I chose to use an image that I had coloured around Christmas time and make a card with it. I used a stamp called Christmas Boo. She is not from this weeks sponsore however, but we have been sponsored by Lacy Sunshine in the past. (and I am sure we will be again.) I love this cute little image.

I hope you like as well.

I promise to be back on track for next weeks Challenge. Until then, don't forget to stop by Fab'n'Funky and show us your wonderful Spots and stripes creations. We love to see them.

Calling all brads.

Good morning everyone! Another Wednesday morning and that means another Challenge over at Fab'n'Funky ! This week Ciska chose the theme of brads. At first I thought man this is going to be a tough one......I don't have any brads. But then I went looking through my stash and found a full container of brads from way back when they were all the rage.

So if you are like me and have plenty of brads, but don't use them or even remember having them, now is the time to pull them out, dust them off and get them on your project.

This week our wonderful sponsor is one my favorite artists:

This week I got to play with Develish Donna. She was so much fun to colour up! Here is my card for this week.

I wanted to try some new colours for the hair. It looks much better in real life, the photo really washed out the colours. I also used 20 brads!

Here is a close up, the colours are little better here. I used some stickles on her wings and my sakura pen on her stockings and neck cover.

I even decorated the inside of the card this week.

Well that is it for me this week. I hope you like it. Don't forget to stop by Fab'n'Funky and show us your wonderful creations for a chance to win a fabulous prize from Kenny K!

Thank you for stopping by, all comments are genuinely appreciated!

Hello and Happy New Year!!!!

Well the New Year has arrived and I am so happy to say Hello to 2014. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a fun New Years Eve. We stayed home this year and really got to spend some time with the kids. It was so nice to just sit back, relax and truly enjoy our time together.

Well the New Year also brings us a new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. This week it is Judith's turn to pick and host the challenge. She has chosen the theme of Celebration. What a great choice!

This week we got to play with some fun stamps from Bugaboo Stamps. I chose this one, it is called Stella-Rocking Chair.

Here is my card.

Sorry that the image is small. I wanted to show you the inside and the front of the card separately, but I accidentally deleted the files, and had to make due with this photo.

Now don't forget to pop on over to Fab'n'Funky to link up your creation and your chance to win a fabulous prize from our sponsor.

Thank you!
