Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well! Today we have a brand new challenge up at Fab'n'Funky.  This week our theme is ANIMALS! Our sponsor this week is Katheryn from Stampart.

Here is what I came up with using her adorable stamp Little Bear Ducky.

I had so much fun playing with this image. It is all coloured up with my Copics, and the papers are little remnants from my stash.

Thank you once again for stopping by, it truly is appreciated. Don't forget to stop by at Fab'n'Funky and enter your wonderful creations for a chance to win a wonderful prize from our sponsor. We love to see your works of art!

Birthday and Cake

Good day everyone! Sorry for the delay. Jeff has just loaded in Window's 7 and we are still learning where everything is. This morning when I tried to post my card, I could not find any way to link it up. Thankfully Jeff fixed that and here I am posting it now.

This week  over at Fab'n'Funky, our challenge is "Birthday" and we are sponsored by Mazy Art. I love their images. This week I got to play with this wonderful stamp called Mama Leah.

Here is my card. What better Birthday theme than the birth of a new baby!

I have also been craving a nice rich chocolate cake this week. So I decided to make one for the family for a change. Normally I make them and they go out the door to those that have requested it!

When making the cake however, I realised that I no longer had enough Cocoa to make the icing. So my sweet dear husband said he would go out and get it for me at the Bulk Barn.
Ladies please let me tell you something. NEVER send your husband out to get you baking supplies! He came back with a bag full! I mean something like 15-20 cups of the stuff. And unfortunately he did not buy the rich cocoa that I normally buy for my baking. So the icing was not as rich and fudgy as I would have liked, but it was still good.
He later suggested that I make little baggies and bring them to school and give them to everyone at school!!! LOL!

Well here it the cake.

I know it doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but once you cut into it.....

There is this rich creamy chocolate cheese cake layer.
MMmmmmm!

Now that you I have made you hungry for cake, I will take my leave and say good bye!

Tee-Hee!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Stamp Fairy and Berries!!!!

What more could you ask for on this wonderful Wednesday? That's right it's time for another challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. This week Beccy has chosen the theme of "Let's get fruity" and our sponsor is Stamp Fairy. I love their stamps they are just so cute.

Here is what I came up with...................................................

The sparkly paper around in the background is actually a grey colour, very similar to the colour of the bear. (Not sure why it looks so green.) The image is coloured with my Copics, The bear was done in W tone (0,1,3,5,7) and the cherries R tones (25,27,29)

I went back to my simple style for this one.

Thank you once again for stopping by.
