Have been busy...

It has been crazy busy here for the last week and a half. Jeff has started a new full time job, and has already been able to put in some OT! Yeah! The only downfall to the new job is he works 3-11 pm. So we don't really get to see him much during the week.
I have been busy trying to get all my DT stuff done on time. This is the first time I have to do it and I think I stressed out a little more than needed! LOL! But I think I am getting the hang of it! I have also been busy making a gorgeous (if I do say so myself) cake for my little neighbor. It was her tenth birthday this week and she asked me for a birthday cake. Well me being me, I could not say no, and I could not just make her a simple little cake! LOL. The theme was Hawaiian. Here is her cake.

    That cake is awesome!!
    Congrats to you dh on the job. 3-11 will be tough on the family, but I'm sure he's happy to be working again.

    Wow that cake is just awesome! I wish I lived closer. You get used to the schedule but at least he comes home at night. My DH works night shifts and it's from 8PM-8AM. That I will NEVER get used too. :(
