New Challenge and sketch!

Well I am such a bad blogger! Our new sketch and challenge went up at Let's Scrap on Wednesday, and here I am just posting them now!!! I need one of those really big embarrassed faces to put on the blog! LOL! Any way here is the wonderful sketch that we get to play this week. (By the way it is also the sketch we had to use to apply for the design team.)

And here is my take on the sketch.

This layout is about Jared's 13th birthday. He keeps asking for Saint Patty related cakes. I guess he thinks that he is Irish or can lay claim to the title since he was born on St.Patty's Day! LOL
So last year I made him the ultimate St.Patty's Cake. A pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. OK you're right the rainbow was in the pot of gold, but it just sounded better the other way! ;o)

We also have a fun challenge for you this week. Challenge #133. You need to use a sketch from Let's Scrap and the following prompts. Use the 5 "W's" ( you know Who, Where, When and Why) in the journalling of your layout. You're title should contain the "What?" in it somewhere.

I had a little scrappy time this week and got some cards done for some blogs/challenges. But as usual forgot to upload them in time to post on blogs!

This next card is for a sketch challenge over at Sketch N Stash (http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.ca/)
We had this wonderful sketch to play with.
And here is my take!

Thanks once again for coming by and seeing what I have been up to!

Happy Easter to all of those who celebrate it!
