Alittle Christmas spirit.......goes a long way!

Good morning everyone, it's another very cold Wednesday morning here in Barrie. The weather is actually very fitting for our next challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. Our them this week is CHRISTMAS. Now if you were to follow our Christmas challenges all year long, by the end of the year you will 12 extra Christmas card done, isn't that a wonderful idea?

My Oh My!! I am a terrible blogger.......

But in my defence I do have a good reason. The flu bug has run a muck in my house hold, and I had to take four days off work the week before last to tend to the sick. Then this week it was play catch up at work and at home......and therefore I completely forgot to post last weeks challenge for Fab'n'Funky. By the time I noticed it, it was Monday night and I still had to make this weeks challenge. So you are in for a treat this week I am going to give a two for one. I am going to show you last weeks Challenge (Valentine/Love) and this weeks (spots and stripes) as well.

So here is it, last week we got to play with some stamps from Paper Shelter. I love their stamps, they are so fun and cute.

And a closer look. I fussy cut the lips from some Bobunny papers. I love how it turned out!

With my little predicament of having no real time, I chose to use an image that I had coloured around Christmas time and make a card with it. I used a stamp called Christmas Boo. Calling all brads.

Good morning everyone! Another Wednesday morning and that means another Challenge over at Fab'n'Funky ! This week Ciska chose the theme of brads. At first I thought man this is going to be a tough one......I don't have any brads. But then I went looking through my stash and found a full container of brads from way back when they were all the rage.

So if you are like me and have plenty of brads, but don't use them or even remember having them, now is the time to pull them out, dust them off and get them on your project.

This week I got to play with Develish Donna. She was so much fun to colour up! Here is my card for this week.

 

I wanted to try some new colours for the hair. It looks much better in real life, the photo really washed out the colours. I also used 20 brads!

Here is a close up, the colours are little better here. I used some stickles on her wings and my sakura pen on her stockings and neck cover.

I even decorated the inside of the card this week.
