Hugs and Kisses for everyone

Good morning everyone! Thank you for all the lovely comments last week, they are always appreciated!

This week at Fab'n'Funky, Our lovely team mate Pat has chosen the theme of Valentine's or Hearts. At first I was not too sure where to go with this one, as we tend to not make a big deal of V day. In our house it is always "V" day! LOL!

But then I remembered this lovely stamp from Pointers that was sent to me months ago. It is called Reach for the stars. Here is the original image stamped.
While looking at this stamp, I thought if I altered it a bit, I could make it into a LOVE card. So I removed the star, and added some hearts to the balloon. I then took one of my Penny Black stamps and stamped the flowers. Then I coloured the image with my Copics and made it 3D.

So what do you think? I really like how it turned out. The beautiful papers used on this card were all purchased at Scrapbook Star. They are MME- Lime Twist and Bo Bunny- Crazy Love.

Well I hope that you can join us for this weeks challenge. I can't wait to see all your wonderful creations!

Have a great day!

These boots were made for walking....

Good day everyone! Well it's time for another fun challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. This week my lovely team mate Rachel has chosen the theme of SHOES.

I have to admit, at first I was stumped! But then I saw this adorable little image by Mo Manning. It made me think of Anize when she was little. She would were her little yellow boots ALL THE TIME! With a dress, pj's shorts and even to bed! LOL!

So of course, I had to have it! Here is what I did with my card.

I can't wait to see what you come up with this week. Don't forget to visit us at Fab'n'Funky and post your creation for a chance to win a wonderful prize.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone! This week at Fab'n'Funky we are asking you to use your favorite colour combo on your project. I had stop and think about this one for a minute or two. I mean I have lots of colour combos that I really like, but I couldn't really say I had a favorite. But then I started to think about the all the cards and LO's that I see online, and the noticed that many of the my fav's are done up in Browns and Blues with either white or cream.
So here is my card with some Blue, Brown and Cream.

As always your comments are truly appreciated! Be sure to stop by Fab'n'Funky this and show us your favorite colour combo, and you could win some wonderful prizes from our Sponsor "Flonzcraft" this week!

Get Moving!!!!

Good day everyone!!! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! This week I am so happy to be the one bringing you the challenge at Fab'n'Funky!  With the New Year upon us, I know that many people have made some resolutions to get into shape and get moving! Well I am also on that ban wagon! Now I just need to get motivated to do it!!! LOL!

So what better theme for our challenge this week, then "GET MOVING!!!" This week our DT got to work with some wonderful stamps from Mazy Art. Oh how I love their digi stamps, the images are so cute!!! And they giving one lucky winner the amazing prize of 5 free digi stamps of their choice!!!

Here is what I came up for my card:

I used "Kalea" I love how here skirt is just flowing! I tried a new colour combo for the skin, I wanted her to look more tanned almost dark skinned. In real life it is a little darker than in the photo. I also wanted to keep the colours bright and fun. I really wanted to give the card a Hawaiian feeling!

Well thank you all for stopping by once again.

Winter Wonderland!!!

Good day everyone! Hope you all doing fine. Sorry I am running late in posting this week. Blogger has not been very good to me. I have been having issues with posting pictures in my posts. So please bare with me on this post, I have to post my pictures using the HTML and I haven't got a clue what it means! All I know is that I see whole bunch of jumble and it works! LOL!  (If any of you have had this problem, and know what to do to fix it, please leave a comment, it would be greatly appreciated).

Now onto this weeks challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. This week we are celebrating "winter". We would love to see some creations with some fun winter scenes and or activities.

Here is what I came up with. I wanted to make something really sparkly. I coloured this "winter scene" by Digi Darla Designs with my trusted Copics markers and then used some glitter and stickles to make the snow and ice. I love the look of all the glitter!

(now remember, I am having some difficulties posting picture, so I apologise in advance if the photos are not in the proper orientation.)

Here is close up, so that you can see all the sparkly goodness! LOL

Well thank you once again for stopping by and seeing my creations. I always appreciate it when you do. Hope you all have a great day!

Christmas time is fast approaching.....

Are you ready? Have you had time to get everything done? Is all your shopping done? I am almost done, just need to get one or two things for both the kids, and then do the stocking stuffers for the kids, hubby, the dog and two newest members, the rats. Yes we finally got them! Would you like to see them? Here they are. They are both males and we named them Freddie (white and beige/brown) and Buddie (grey and white). Warning you are about to experience major cuteness!!!

I love them they are already starting to show their own little personalities, and they are both very affectionate and snugly!

Now onto our Final challenge of  2012 over at Fab'n'Funky. This week the challenge will run until the new year. Our team will be taking a well needed break!

Our theme for this week is to use RIBBON or LACE on your project.
Here is what I came up with. I made a cute little gift card holder for my daughter's teacher this year. It is made out of Toilet Paper rolls and hold three  Gift Cards. When you untie the ribbon and pull both ends up, it pulls the GC out of the tube. I had so much making this. I know I will be making some more of these for next year. They are so easy and what a great way to give GCs!!

I hope you can join us this week. You know we love to see your wonderful creations!

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!!!
