Going on a summer holiday!

My summer Holidays last all summer long. Normally I really enjoy it, but this year for some reason, I am really missing work, and can't wait to get back! Is that strange?

I had the chance to work with the stamp called Fairy and Mushrooms, I loved working with this stamp and I know that I will be using it again and again! Now I know you might be thinking how is this related to "going on summer holiday". Well let me tell you a little tale about a young girl who read a story about two little girls who had been out in the forest and found some fairies. These two little girls were able to get photos of the fairies as they danced around the forest. I was told this was a true story (sadly I found out years later it was all a hoax), so every summer we would go out looking for fairies. This was how I spent a good part of my summer holidays. So naturally when I found out our theme this week and saw this stamp, I knew what I was going to do!

I chose to make an easel card this time.

 Here is close up of the image! I used some glossy accents on her wings to give them some shine. (Next time I think I will use some glitter)

 Here is just another angle, so that you can see the sentiment and the flower boarder a little better.

Designer paper are from Kaiser which can be purchased HERE along with the black ribbon and flowers. The flowers are from Recollection and Prima. And the flower boarder on the bottom are from the Dollar Store.

Stirpes and Stars

I am Canadian, not American, so that is why my card for this weeks challenge is not made in the traditional Blue, Red and White that you would expect when you see the title. I thought it would be a fun challenge to make a card with other colours. Well I must tell you it was a CHALLENGE!!! I had such a difficult time putting this one together. But voila, Here it is!

Cute and Girly

This weeks theme at Fab'n'Funky is an easy one for me! CUTE AND GIRLY. That's right it's time to pull out your flowers and ribbons and cute girly papers and stamps and create!!!

Of Course I am on a Sweet and Simple phase right now, so I did not use any ribbon or flowers. LOL! But I did take this cute little fairy from Mo's Digi pencil I just love her stamps!

Four more days!!!!

Yes that's right only four more days until the school year is done! (For the kids that is, I have one more than them...) Then it is really summer time!!!

I have bee working hard at getting Anize's teacher's gift done this weekend. I work so hard on it that I now don't want to give it to her! LOL! I am so happy with how this one turned out!

Here it is a drawer to hold some cards, with an easel card ontop, so that she can leave it on her table or desk for a display! I hope she likes it!

Here is a look at the drawer. I think next time I make one of these, I will be reinforcing the drawer. This one is a little flismy!

Not sure why this one went side ways, but here are some close ups of the easel card.

I am seeing Dots and Duct Tape!!!

Good day everyone! This week at Fab'n'Funky our theme is Polka Dots! We were so lucky this week to be able to play with some of the stamps from our sponsor at  Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I have been eyeing this stamp for some time! And I am sure that I will be using it again soon! LOL!
